Re: MBA or MSc Biotechnology?
hai friend
now a days biotechnology is an emerging branch of science with handfull of oppurtunities.luckily you have entered into it and try to continue it.dont get diverted into MBA.surely you can enjoy the course as you have touch with it in B.Sc itself.many companies are offering good jobs to biotechnology postgraduates.you will get offers even in abroad.so please follow it and iam sure you will have a bright future. Re: MBA or MSc Biotechnology?
Dear friend,
I think you can pursue a good career in M SC biotechnology since you have completed your B sc biotechnology course It will be hard to you to enter into the stream of MBA since you are not familiar in management areas And now the biotechnology areas are emerging day by day and you can shine in that by getting good job and all So in my opinion M SC is better for you ,than MBA But you are the one going to study , so you have the right to take decision about your career Good luck friend |

Re: MBA or MSc Biotechnology?
HI!
Both management & bitechnology degree holders are in great demand in India. An MBA in Biotechnology will focus not only on the science but also on the business side of things. With an MBA in Biotechnology you are likely to get a job in Administration, Management, Marketing, or Sales. But if you are interested in pursuing a career in research & development then MSc. in biotechnology will be the best option for you. With an MSc in biotechnology you are more likely to get a job as a Technician, Scientific Associate etc. you can also work as a teaching professional. |

Re: MBA or MSc Biotechnology?
Well this is the common doubt for most of the students soon after the completion of their in B.Sc in Biotechnology.
My sincere suggestion is to go for MBA if you are not good at in your knowledge of Biotechnology and take M.SC Biotechnology if you have good knowledge in your subject and if you are interested to pursue further studies If you want to join job after your post graduation then MBA is the best course than Biotechnology. Because there are limited opportunities after M.Sc biotechnology. You need to work in pharmaceutical companies or biotechnology companies and that environment may not be comfortable to all the person or most students join teaching profession after M.Sc Even in MBA also you may have science related specializations like MBA in Hospital management MBA in pharmaceutical management |

Re: MBA or MSc Biotechnology?
i see lot of questions over here to know wheter to go for mba or msc, today biotechnology industry is booming like something so what i would suggest all you people is do msc biotechnology and go for phd where lot of countries provide hell lot of scholorships and also they pay u a stipend during ur research each country has its own durations for the research so u can select any of them and go for it, this line has a great future..

You do what you want after passing the graduation. If you want to Marketing then you go for M.B.A. For admissions in top college you have to qualify the C.A.T, M.A.T, X.A.T etc. Some top college for M.B.A in the India:- Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM C) Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM B) Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM L) XLRI - Xavier Labour Research Institute, Jamshedpur ISB - Indian School of Business, Hyderabad FMS - Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM I) Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM K - Calicut) all the best! |
