Minimum educational required for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot in Indian Railways?
Sir, I have completed 12th and ITI course trade (Architect Assistant ). Am I eligible for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot in Indian Railways? Is this qualification enough or do I need to do any further course or write any entrance examination?

Yes, you are eligible for Assistant Loco Pilot post in Indian Railways as you have already completed ITI course.
To be eligible for Loco pilot job in Indian Railways, one should have completed ITI or Diploma (mechanical/automobile/electrical or electronics) or 10+2 (PCM) from a recognized Board. As you are eligible for Locopilot post, you just have to apply for Locopilot post via RRB exam. There will two stages for cracking Locopilot exam of RRB i.e.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment examination conducted by RRB.
The required educational qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed ITI degree from a recognised institutes. The minimum age limit is 18 years. The examination will be conducted in various stages and mandatory to qualify in all stages for final selection. For more information visit at www.rrb.gov.in. |
