I am a girl of 18 years and my aim is to become a pilot in my coming years. So can you please give me an answer for my question "what is the minimum height required for a pilot?"?

Physical criteria for female candidates for Pilot course:-

1. Height - min. 150cm and 5cm relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
2. Weight should be suitable with height.
3. Chest- min.79cm and 5cm relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The height of pilot must be 64 to 77 inches tall when standing.

While sitting, they should have a height of 34 to 40 inches.

Apart from this commercial pilot should meet these requirements too:

• A perfect eyesight
• A perfect knowledge in aeronautical machines
• English fluency
• Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics

What should be done after 12th science for becoming a commercial pilot?

----A candidate should have done the 12th class in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English subjects. A candidate should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks to become eligible for CPL. The minimum age limit for CPL is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 60 to 65 years.

--Note:- Minimum height is 64--77 inches in between.
