what will be the minmum marks in gate...so that i will be eligible for m,tech in IIT.and percentage required in B.Tech for gate

SIR I HAVE SECURED 72% MARKS IN HIGHER SECONDARY EXAMINATION UNDER WEST BENGAL BOARD.I AM IN SECOND YEAR OF B.TECH COURSE NOW.SO I WANT TO KNOW THAT IF THEIR ANY RULE THAT EVERYONE SITTING FOR GATE EXAMINATION HAS TO SECURE MINIMUM 75% MARKS IN PLUS TWO LEVEL EXAMINATION.PLEASE ANSWER ME SIR BECAUSE IT IS VERY IMPORTENT FOR ME TO KNOW THE ANSWER.
