Re: Minimum marks required to qualify for NDA?
It is never disclosed by the UPSC officials that what are the qualifiying marks or cut off.I have myself cleared NDA and went for SSB but was conference out.I can advice you to just have a look at past years papers and don't worry about english. They ask common english passages.''Don't attempt those answers which you don't know because there is negative marking''.Remember this golden rule.
Results are declared after 2 months from the exam which is conducted twice in a year. |

Re: Minimum marks required to qualify for NDA?
Below is the scheme of NDA examination. It consist of 300 marks in mathematics and 600 marks in General Studies. they do have Negative Markings so beware of this .. As NDA doesn't reveal any Cut off in any Paper But if you Score at least 40% in General Studies and 60% in Mathematics then your Selection is sure. So, Do well in your Exam try to Give those answer only which are known perfectly by you. |

Re: Minimum marks required to qualify for NDA?
Minimum marks for nda depends on the difficulties of question paper ( it consist of 300 marks of mathematics and 600 marks of general science, with negative marking also).
However if you will achieve atleast overall 55%, then your selection is sure. As there are negative marking, so dont attepmt those question in which you are not confident. Good luck and prepare well. |

Re: Minimum marks required to qualify for NDA?
The person who finish 12th standard with maths, physic, chemistry are eligibly to write NDA exams.
minimum marks will be differs year to year,as the toppers will not get same marks as last year topper got the marks.the minimum marks are calculated by seeing toppers marks.so we cannot expected that if i get 3oomarks in maths i will qualify,no this is wrong.so don't look below the margin,be always looking at the upper position of the margin.so that you will be safer position,i.e you can qualify..exam will not be easy, but not difficult, but it will logical, the question will be always on the logical thinking.........so work hard.......you can success-ed. ALL THE BEST |
