I m a student of eleventh class and i m totaly confused that in which stream i have to apply ? Is nda is the best choice for me? If yes than what is the procedure to qualify nda ?

If you are interested for Defence sector, then after 12th NDA is the best choice.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

There is no minimum marks criteria in in any level to apply for NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Yes, Off Course Defense System Through NDA is the best Choice if you are interested in it........

A candidate who have completed their 12th Science with Group-A (i.e, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects from Recognized Board are eligible for it.......

There is No any Percentage Limit for applying it, Just a candidate have to Passed out their 12th Science.....

Age Limit:

Age of candidate should be between 16.5 to 19 years.....


Marital Status:

Only Unmarried Male candidate are eligible for it......

Nationality:

A candidate must have Nationality of INDIA.....


No relaxation for Reserved category available........


NDA is conducted in Three Wings:

2. Only Unmarried Male can Apply for NDA.

There is no percentage criteria if you are applying for NDA exam. You should be just pass in 10+2 if you want to apply for NDA exam.

For NDA exam you must be 10+2 pass from a recognised board of education.

Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years if you want to apply for NDA exam.

Must be unmarried male and Indian citizen.

You have to note that if you want to join Air Force and Navy though NDA exam then you have to pass 10+2 with physics , chemistry and maths.

For Indian Army there is no such rule.

The selection in NDA is based on following stages:

-Objective type paper

-SSB interview

-Medical examination.

Those who are in merit after above stages and pass the medical examination will complete their graduation from NDA, Khadakvasla.

The NDA Exam is considered the best choice for those who want to join the Indian Defense or better say any of the below mentioned wings :

1) Indian Army

2) Indian Navy

3) Indian Air Force

The Union Public Service Commission conducts this exam every year on two ocassions first in the month of April as the NDA-I Exam whereas second in the month of August as the NDA-II Exam.

There is no any specific qualifying marks required for the NDA Exam.
