Re: Minimum percentage required in graduation for PO exam for OBC candidates
The Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts the Bank PO entrance exam for the 19 Public Sector Banks.
There was no percentage criteria for the IBPS Bank PO till last year. But the criteria for both the exams by IBPS changed which included the Bank PO as well. While earlier there was no percentage criteria for the IBPS Bank PO, now candidate should meet the minimum requirement. There is no information so far whether there will be any relaxation offered to the reserve category. However it is believed that even if the relaxation is given, it would be given to SC/ST and not to OBC. Therefore you will have to score the marks that are required for General category as well. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. You should have citizenship of India. 2. Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 3. 60 percent marks in the degree. 4. There is a requirement of certificate in Computer Operating skills. 5. However if you studied Computer Science in school or college then no need of certificate. 6. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for the exam. Relaxation 1. 3 years for OBC in upper age limit. 2. 5 year for SC/ST for the same. 3. 10 years relaxation for PWD. List of 19 Banks Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of Maharashtra Bank of India Central Bank of India Canara Bank Dena Bank Corporation Bank Indian Overseas Bank Indian Bank Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Syndicate Bank Punjab & Sind Bank United Bank of India Union Bank of India Vijaya Bank UCO Bank |
