In order to appear for the Bank Probationary Officer [PO] Exam, candidate must have completed the bachelors degree program from a recognized University in any stream. There is no percentage criteria for appearing in the exam. Candidates with pass marks in Bachelors degree program are good enough to appear in bank exam. The minimum age limit to appear in the exam is twenty years, whereas, the maximum age limit is thirty years[Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates]. |

Re: What's the minimum percentage is required in graduation for bank PO exam for OBC categories?
P.O. - Probationary Officer exam is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public sector Banks.
There is no percentage of marks criteria in Graduation required for P.O. Exam conducted by SBI/IBPS. The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. The candidate should be a computer literate one. For more information you may log on to http://www.statebankofindia.com AND http://ww.ibps.in |

Re: What's the minimum percentage is required in graduation for bank PO exam for OBC categories?
There is absolutely no requirement of any percentage of marks criteria in Graduation for bank P.O. exam especially conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection), only a pass in Graduation is sufficient to apply for this exams along with other eligibility criteria.
But some Private banks require above 50% marks criteria to apply for their P.O. exams. Besides this, the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation. |
