In order to appear for the Bank Probationary Officer [PO] Exam, candidate must have completed the bachelors degree program from a recognized University in any stream. There is no percentage criteria for appearing in the exam. Candidates with pass marks in Bachelors degree program are good enough to appear in bank exam.

The minimum age limit to appear in the exam is twenty years, whereas, the maximum age limit is thirty years[Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates].

P.O. - Probationary Officer exam is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public sector Banks.

There is no percentage of marks criteria in Graduation required for P.O. Exam conducted by SBI/IBPS.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. The candidate should be a computer literate one.

For more information you may log on to http://www.statebankofindia.com AND http://ww.ibps.in

There is absolutely no requirement of any percentage of marks criteria in Graduation for bank P.O. exam especially conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection), only a pass in Graduation is sufficient to apply for this exams along with other eligibility criteria.

But some Private banks require above 50% marks criteria to apply for their P.O. exams.

Besides this, the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation.

Dear..

As soon as Banks have started recruiting through IBPS the craze of getting has increased to a greater extent and hence many candidate want to make thir future with banks through IBPS as well as by SBI.

All the candidates have confusion regarding the eligibility criteria and let me tell you that the eligibility criteria is as follows :-

1. All Graduates are eligible
2. Graduate must be done from a recognized university
3. Age limit is 21-30
4. No minimum percentage criteria
5. Relaxation to candidate from Reserved category
6. No subject preference

There is no minimum percentage criteria so there is no need to worry as you can still apply with whatever percentage you have..

Hope it will help

Cheers...!!!
