Postal Assistant Exam Details:-

$$ You have to pass 12th board exam of a recognized board if you want to apply for the postal assistant exam.

$$ You need to have English as one of your compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

$$ You need to be proficient in the local language of the State where you are planning to apply.

$$ If you have studied Hindi at matriculation level or above then even that would do.

$$ Lower age limit for giving this exam is 18 years and upper age limit is 28 years.

$$ There is age relaxation available for the following candidates:-

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC Candidates: 3 years
• PWD Candidates: 10 years

$$ When shortlisting candidates for this post 40% of weightage is given to boards result, 50% to the aptitude test and finally 10% to the typing test that is conducted.

$$ The exam pattern is basically consists of objective questions and total marks allotted for this exam is 100. Same number of questions too will be asked and you will get 2 hours to complete the paper.

$$ Give stress on the following areas:-

1. General Knowledge
2. Mathematics
3. English
4. Reasoning and Analytical Ability
