As per the eligibility to appear for entrance examination to get admission in JNU the required eligibility is that the candidate must have passed bachelor degree in Economics with Mathematics as main paper or bachelor degree in Mathematics with Economics as subsidiary or bachelor degree in Statistics with Mathematics and Economics as subsidiary paper.

The minimum required aggregate is 50%. So, if you have above qualification you can appear for entrance examination to get admission in JNU.

# The educational qualification required to join in MA ECONOMICS course is Graduation degree in any discipline with atleast 50% of marks in aggregate but many universities ask Graduation with economics as one of the subjects.
# So, it is not mandatory to study maths subject in intermediate to join in this course in JNU.
# Some best colleges which offer this course are :
-> University of Kashmir, Srinagar
-> Goa university, Goa
-> Rajiv Gandhi university
-> Jadhavpur university, Kolkata
-> Central university of Rajasthan
-> Barkatullah university, Bhopal etc.
# After the completion of this course, you can apply for UGC NET examination and you can also apply for Indian Economic Services examination.
# After this MA in Economics course, you can apply for jobs like :
-> Business analyst
-> Financial consultant
-> Investment banker etc.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
