Prelims test in IAS is common for all candidates. The session cover questions on English language, Indian Polity, mental ability, geography, Indian history, world history, and so on. Those who pass prelims are only considered for mains exam. In order to attend prelims, you must be a graduate from a recognized University. Graduation can be obtained in any subject.
