how many ways there to join in Indian army after b.sc....please mention the ways

You can join Indian Army through SSC examination and CDS examination.

SSC is conducted once in a year and CDS is conducted twice every year.

The notification for these exams is necessarily published in the Employment News.

If you want to Join Indian Army as a commissioned Officer, Below are the Details of Entries

After your Graduation You have Four Options

One is CDSE i.e Combined Defense Services,(Click here for More instruction )

Second is SSC i.e Short Service Commission Technical Entry and

Third UES i.e University Entry Scheme.

Fourth option is Through TGC i.e Technical Graduate commission

There are Lot of Entries Just make your self Perfect To crack SSB. SSB is Service Selection Board from where you will face Interview, Group Discussions.

There are various entry modes available for BSc graduates to join Indian Defence Forces or particularly Indian Army.

1 Combine Defence Services (CDS) Examination. Conducte by UPSC twice in a year in the month of August and February. To be eligible for the exam, the candidate must be male Indian within the age of 19 to 23. Candidate must have a graduate dergree in any stream.


2. Service Selection Commission (SSC): this examination is also conducted by UPSC and to be eligible for this examination, the candidate must have a graduation degree in any stream with aggregate of 60 % marks. Age limit is as same as for CDS examination.

You can join Indian Army after passing graduation.
For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E).

After qualifying C.D.S exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-2 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam
