i have done BSc physics with 70% can i join indian army..what exam i have you write..plz give me information about it..i am a female candidate

Yes, you can join Indian Army after B.Sc. through CDS Entrance exam.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS.

There is no percentage of marks required in Graduation to apply for CDS.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Army(IMA) of CDS must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The CDS can be joined through on line only by paying requisite fee for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Yes you can apply for Indian Army if you are a B.Sc Physics Graduate from a recognised University.

There is CDS examination for Graduates who want to join Indian Army. You are a B.Sc Physics Graduates means you are also eligible for Navy and Air Force through CDS examination.

Age Limit for CDS exam:

Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years

Officers' Training Academy - 19 to 25 years

After passing Gradation with physics stream you can join Indian Army.

Fr this you have to qualify the Combined Defence Services

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

Yes you are eligible to give the CDS Examination. Female candidates by giving this exam can only enter the Officer's Training Academy exam.

Full form of CDSE is Combined Defense Service Examination and you can give this exam for two times a year. Following are the academies you can enter on giving this exam:-

1. Indian Military Academy
2. Air Force Academy
3. Naval Academy
4. Officer's Training Academy

Indian Military Academy:-

• You need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  
• Age: 19 to 23 years.

Air Force Academy:-

• You need to get a B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics or a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology.
  
• Age: 19 to 23 years.

Naval Academy:-

• You need to have a B.E./B.Tech degree in engineering or technology or a bachelor's degree in science with physics or mathematics.
  
• Age: 19 to 22 years.

Officer's Training Academy:-

• Educational Qualification:- You need to complete your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  
• Age: 19 to 25 years.

Exam Pattern:-

For IMA, NA and AFA Academies the examination pattern includes three papers which needs to be completed in six hours. 300 marks have been allotted for the exam.

For the Officer's Training Academy there will be two papers to finish in four hours' time. 200 marks have been allotted for the paper.
