SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices and this examination is Conducted by UPSC Every Year and If you are Interested in SCRA Examination, then Please Fill the Online application form Soon Before the Last date, The Online Registration process was Already Started and the last date of apply for SCRA Examination : 21/Nov/2011.

So, If you have completed your 12Th examination OR Graduation degree course with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects, Then you are eligible to apply for SCRA Examination, Final year Candidates are also apply for SCRA Examination.

But To apply for SCRA Examination, Your age should between 17 to 21 Years and Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

Those who are Interested may fill the SCRA Application form Online by visit the UPSC Website, You can only fill the Application form Online Because no Other Mode of application should be Accepted. The examination fees of SCRA was rs 50 and you have to pay the Fees Online Through SBI Net Banking OR pay the Fees Directly in SBI bank. After Paying the Fees you are eligible to fill Online SCRA Application Form.

This exam is commenced once in a year.

It is considered as one of the toughest exam in India.

As no. of vacant posts is only 42 out of which some seats are reserved for reserved castes.

Recently this exam was conducted by UPSC on 20 January 2013.

However, you can apply for upcoming SCRA Exam 2014.

Only Online Applications are available for SCRA Exam, so you can apply for it through UPSC Online Web Portal i.e. http://upsconline.nic.in

Notifications of SCRA Exam would be release in November 2013.
