dear friend,
After completion of B.tech you want to go for M.tech..

For that you have to appear in GATE exam.. Which is conducted by IIT's and IISC jointly.

Eligibility for GATE exam:-

1.One must have complete the bachelor degree in the fields like- Engineering/Technology/Architecture.

Or,

2.One must have complete the master degree in the fields like - M.Sc/MBA/MCA..

3.One can appear in GATE exam during the pre-final year or final year of graduation or post graduation.

4.There is no age limit..

5.No such percentage criteria is required.

So, you can go for GATE exam after completion of engineering.
All the best.

There is no percentage criteria for GATE .All the students who have completed BE/B.tech or the students of final/pre-final year can apply for GATE .

So don't worry about about the percentage criteria and try to prepare yourself as much as possible .

Dear aspirant,
You can write the GATE entrance.
It is good to try for GATE entrance.

GATE entrance is one of the toughest entrance being conducted by IIT’s.
So, the preparation level should be of that category.
The selection of best study material and your concepts will play a great role in deciding your rank in this exam.
Generally, students try to get M.Tech seats in IIT’s.
For that you need to score minimum 50/100.
Because many a students will opt for jobs directly so the many toppers won’t join M. Tech.
Work hard and chase your dream.

It is good decision to study for GATE.

Believe you can and you will on the half way.
Please do visit this website for your queries related to any entrance exam.
Best of luck
