Hii sir me completed BE with second class I want to join civil service and me belongs to SC category so Please notify clearly what are the physical requirements for height , chest, vision please

Civil service exam Is conducted through UPSC every year , The eligibility criteria are as follows :

The candidates should be a citizen of India.
The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
The age limit is 21 - 30 years,
There is a age relaxation for reserved candidates.

Physical requirement:

Height :–

Male 165 cm & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm

Female 150 cm & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm

Chest :–

Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.

Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

Eye sight :–

6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye.

6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye.

Physical criteria for Civil Service exam(IPS):-

Height

For Men : 165 cm(AROUND)
For Women :150 cm(AROUND)

OBC /SC/ST :

Male:160 cm and female :145 cm

Chest

Male candidates-84 (+ 5cm).

Female candidates-79cm(+ 5cm).

Eye Sight

For Worse Eye :6/12 or 6/9 distant vision
For good Eye :6/6 or 6/9 distant vision

Physical requirements for civil service exam are as follows:-

For male candidates height should be 165 cm for general/SC/ST/OBC category.
For female candidates height should be 155 to 160 cm for general & 145 cm for SC/ST/OBC.

For male candidates chest should be 84 cm.
For female candidates chest should be 79 cm.

Eye version should be 6/6 or 6/9 distant version.

You must have graduate from any recognized university .

Age should between 21 to 32 years.

Civil service examination conducted by the Upsc every year for the various posts like IAS, IFS, IPS etc.


For being eligible in this exam , one must be citizen of India. The nationality should be an Indian. One should be physically fit for appearing in this exam. The weight should be matched according to the height.
