Physics, Chemistry and Computer science student of +2 can pursue B.Sc in Zoology or Wild life biology?


Is a student with extensive wild life related field work exposure and +2 with computer science, physics and chemistry eligible for admission into B.Sc Zoology. The aim is to pursue higher level studies in wild life biology and become a wild life biologist.

With science stream in senior secondary education , You can choose any course either B.Sc (Zoology) or B.Sc (Wildlife Biology). Some well reputed universities also conduct entrance exam for admission.

Eligibility
- You must have passed (10+2) in science stream with at least 50% from a recognized board.
- You need minimum score in entrance exam.

Yes, the candidate who have pursued 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Computer science can pursue B.Sc. in Zoology.

B.Sc. Zoology stands for Bachelor of Science in Zoology. It is a three year duration course. Zoology is the branch of Biology that scientifically studies the structure, function, behavior and evolution of animals. Zoology deals with the study of invertebrates, Quantitative Biology, cell Biology, Genetics, Animal Physiology, Structural Biology, Environmental Physiology, Biostatistics, Computations in Life Sciences, Developmental Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biotechnology etc.

Eligibility criteria for admission into bachelor’s degree in zoology, one should have passed higher secondary education or 10+2 from a recognized board with science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and in one of the Math’s subjects.
