PO eligibility?


i have got 53% in ug and i am pursuing MBA(2nd year) and i m expecting more than 60% in PG and i have 83% in 12th so can i eligible to apply?
pls help me sir
i have only 53%in ug so pls help am i eligible?

WELL PAL,
most of the PO exams ask for 55% in any branch of graduation (general).though, eligibilty criteria regarding % also changes for different examination. some ask for 60% and some will require you to have high second division + first class PG...
but, normally at least 55% is required and since you don't fulfill it you cant appear in PO examination...better, check individual exams notifications and their eligibility criteria..
some banks, both private and public directly recruit MBAs and there too the eligibility criteria vary.

Sorry to tell you this but in PO exams minimum 60% marks are required at graduation level to be eligible for appearing in Po exams.

yes you can eligible for the PO exam but the criteria may wary from bank to bank but generally they ask for 65% in 12th and 60% in graduation.

look mayur you are eligible also and ineligible also because there are certain PO exams which ask for 60% and above in 12th and in UG level as well some ask for 60 % in ug level and some ask for 60% above in 12th and in the last degree exam .. but i think you wont have a problem at all as you are doing MBA and hoping to score well above 60%in it soo dear mayur congrats you are certainly eligible for the bank PO exams but read the eligibility conditions correctly for every bank PO exam you are planning to appear for .. good luck to you .a nd all the best hope you be eligible for all .. and a personal suggestion do try and study hard and improve you r standard as you seem to be detiorating in you academic standards....bbye

actually the exam of p.o is based on the graduation,
you should passed in graduation,and the percentage in graduation should varies from bank to bank,
some bank keep it as a 50%,where some other keeps it to 60%.

Essential academic qualifications: General category and others category - 60% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or in Diploma after Xth standard; and 55% aggregate marks in Graduation. SC/ST/PWD category - 55% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or in Diploma after Xth standard; and 50% aggregate marks in Graduation...

the elgibility is nothing but a graduation degree from any field.
you can fill for probabtinary officer from 13 nationalised banks
sbi
bank of baroda
pnb etc.
also there are private banks like
icci

Bank po exam only see the percentage of gradute degree , it is not meant for any post graduate exam.
Now since some bank po exam requires 55% as an eligibility critera some want 50%, it depens upon the bank which you choose for bank po

sorry to say you are not eligiable to attain Bank P.O exam.

as minimum 55% marks for under graduate candidates are require.

and age limit is 21-30 year.

To be a probationary officer you should be a citizen of India. Candidate should have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from a recognized University. The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years.

for po exam, atleast 60% marks in graduation are required to become eligible. Since you percentage is below that, you are not eligible.

banking is a consecutive of post management analysis of economics.
career in banking is to be taken as a clerical posts,probabtionary officer.
no elgibility critria,but a somple graduation is needed.

i.Reasoning Ability Test

iv.English Language

2.Tier II - Main Test : Time 3 Hours

•This will be an Objective and Descriptive type examination
•The objective type examination of 2 hours duration will consist of :

i.Test of Reasoning
ii.Data Analysis and Interpretation
iii.Marketing Knowledge
iv.Test of English Language

•The Descriptive type examination will be a test of English knowledge that has to be done in 1 hour.

3.Tier III - Group Discussion & Interview :

the criteria for the po is depend on the bank profile,well in general it starts with 55%in 12th but sbi have 60% in 12th in graduation it also vary from 50% to 65%,so keep practicing for those for which u r eligible..

And he/she must be the citizen of India and must be in between the age group of 21 to 30.

there r more way of getting job in PO.
somecriterias r u should be -

1: a citizen of India.

2: completed graduation with at least 60 % aggregate& in class 12 is 55%. 5% relaxation for SC/ST.

3: computer literated.
4: age in between 21 yr-30yr.

Well dear friend the eligibility criteria for different banks tend to vary.
However most of the banks Demand minimum 60%-55% in graduation.Like SBI demands 60% minimum
(with relaxation of 5 % for category candidates.)
Same is true for age for ex. SBI allows ages in 21 to 30 years of range while ICICI
allows upto 25 years only.
As far as your score is concerned there is no bank which allows below 55% in graduation. Unless you are a category holder... i don't think you can appear for PO.

PO demands minimum graduation and most of the banks demands 55% marks in graduation level but if you belong to the OBC category or SC/ST you have exsumption upto 50%.

As far concernd with the Bank PO exam eligibilty,it will vary from bank to bank.As you have told that you have got 53% in UG,it is proficient in banks.Basically the eligibility rules are:

Eligibility for Bank PO:

1. Candidates must have a age limit of 21years -30 years.

2. Candidates must have been graduated from a recognized university with 60% aggregate and some banks ask for 55%.

3. Candidates must be familiar with computers and need to know about MS Office.

Different banks have different eligibility criteria for the post of bank
Probationary examination. To apply for this PO examination basically
you need the following eligibility criteria.

Education Qualification
For the post of PO candidate should be graduate in any discipline
from a recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination
are also eligible.

Age Limit
Generally the age limit required by most of the bank for the post
of bank PO is between 21 to 30 years.
Relaxation in age is given by the Govt. banks.

Eligibility for BANK PO changes...different for different banks ..but you can take an average...

as minimum eligiblity criteria is One must completed his graduation with atleast of 55% aggreagate and 12th class with a percentage of 60% for probationary..

and for clerical one need to clear 12th class with a minimum percentage of 60%..(or in highest degree)

you must be computer literate to be eligible for this course.
