Sir, I have done BSc Honours in Biotechnology 4 years course from an Agriculture University. I have an Agriculture subject in my Graduation. I want to become an Agriculture Field Officer. Please let me know that with this qualification, I can become such Officer?

You are eligible to apply for agriculture field officer post after completion of your 4 years B.Sc (Biotechnology) with agriculture subject. SBI and IBPS conducts entrance exam SBI SO and IBPS SO to recruit agriculture field officer for banks. Other private banks conduct their own entrance exam to recruit agriculture field officer.

Education Qualification for Agriculture Field Officer
You must have passed 4 years bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandary/Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Forestry/Agriculture Biotechnology/Food Science/Agricultural Engineering/Sericulture/Food Technology/Agriculture Marketing and Cooperation/Agriculture Business Management etc.

Age Limit
20 to 30 years. Age relaxation applicable 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PH candidates as per government norms.
