Information About Civil Services Examination.

Yes, definitely you are eligible for the civil services examination. The examination like IAS, IPS, IFS, IES, CDS.....etc are comes under civil services examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in every year. If you are interested in the civil services examination then you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Pass graduation degree in any stream from a recognize University. The final year graduation student are also eligible for the civil services examination. The education qualification is not same for all civil services examination. For IAS, IPS examination the educational qualification is graduation in any stream.

Age Limit = The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the reservation category candidates.

So, if you are a B.Tech final year candidates then you are eligible for the Civil services examination. This is the basic eligibility criteria for the civil services examination. Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC .
U.P.S.C. stands for Union Public Service Commission. It is the Government constitutional body which conducts various government exams for recruitment of candidates to various posts.

A final year B.Tech student can apply for civil service exam.

Eligibility:-

--A candidate must have completed his/her graduation from recognized university.

--A final year candidate can also apply.

--Candidates who have completed their graduation from technical courses/professional courses can also apply for this exam.

-- Only passing mark is required in graduation.

-- Candidates must not have any pending backlogs.

--Age of the candidate should lie between 21-30 years.

--Age relaxation for OBC is 3 years & SC/ST is 5 years.

--For open category candidates , number of attempts -4 , for OBC- 7, for SC/ST- unlimited.

--Candidate must be Indian citizen to apply.
