Is it possible to become a commercial pilot after B.Tech?
Hi
I have cleared medical I and II which are necessary for undergoing training for being a commercial pilot. But now i am doing B.tech in electronics and communication and after completing my B.tech i want to be a commercial pilot. What all i will have to do for being a commercial pilot after completing B.Tech and will i have to renew the medical tests? |

I don;t think so, you must be an aerospace engineer in order to become a pilot. If it is not so, try to see the aviation dept. website.

In fact you will have a preference over others because you are an engineer and a technical person. But you have to undergo the medical tests again. Whether you may be an engineer or just an under graduate your physical condition is also a key factor. As many lives are going to be in your hand when you are going to fly an airplane. yes you can become a pilot for that you must have any degree in aviation field or in aeronautical engeneering. there are various institutions which offer the course about this field. you can join it and after taking a proper degree, you can become a pilot in the private aviation industry or in government sector.
