No, it is not possible to directly get admission in MBA ( Master of Business Administration) after 10+2.

The minimum eligibility to get admission in Master course is candidate must have passed Bachelor degree from a recognised university. So, you need to pursue bachelor degree to get admission in MBA.

You can pursue any course either BBA or B.Com to get admission in MBA course where one is a professional course.

You can go with any of them either B.Com or BBA to pursue MBA course. MBA stands for Master of Business Administration and it is a two year course after graduation degree.

If you are more inclined towards pursuing MBA after bachelor's degree then Bachelor of Business Administration will be better than B.Com as it will provide you basics of business administration which you can use for MBA course.

After BBA, you can apply for different entrance exams for MBA like CAT, MAT, XAT etc.

MBA is a post graduation program which stands for Masters in Business Administration. It is a 2 year course. Just as its name suggests, it is a masters level program which CANNOT be done by mere a 12th pass student. However, if you plan to do MBA here are a few things that you need to have in your mind to ensure you are on the right track:

1. Since MBA has no restrictions on the Under graduate level of study, you may study or take up any course as Bachelors in whichever stream you wish to do. It not only enhances your knowledge base but also gives you exposure to some foundation level of professional studies before you become eligible to take up MBA or any other masters level program.

2. Now, for MBA you have to first of all sit for major all India Entrance exams such as MAT, CMAT, CAT, XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT, GMAT, etc. These entrances basically test you on your Quantitative skills, Language skills, Logical reasoning and Data Interpretations. However, please bear in mind that cracking these is not a cakewalk.

3. Once you are done with your graduation and have also cracked any of the above entrance tests, then the associated colleges would call you for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. It is highly required of you to be prepared for all this because all these skills would matter to your final selection.

4. It is also suggested that while you are in your final year of graduation course, you better start preparing for these entrances so that you can get more time to practice and grasp the concepts really well.

In the end, you would get admission to anyone of the top colleges like IIMs, IITs, SP Jain, XLRI, FMS, NMIMS, SIBM Pune, IMI, etc and do MBA thereafter.

-> On your second query, doing MBA after BBA would be more fruitful as it would be associated to the graduation course and you would certainly have better value. However, even if you do B.Com and then MBA in Finance, even this would hold tremendous market value for you.

Yes. It is possible to join MBA course directly after completion of 12th class. There was a special Integrated MBA course with the duration of 5 years which you can opt for. This course is a combination of BBA and MBA. Rather than opting for BBA or B.Com at Graduation level and joining MBA later in a different college, it would be better to opt for Integrated MBA course.

Integrated MBA course curriculum will best serve the needs of the industry by as the candidates will be equipped with Management skills and all the soft skills by the time the course is completed.

Not all the colleges are offering this course. Only few Institutions are offering this course. Some of the popular Institutions are
- Acharya Nagarjuna University
- SRM University
- Lovely Professional University
- GITAM Institute of Management etc.

The selection procedure is different from one university to another university.

Few Institutions will give admission by conducting Group Discussion and Interview. Some other Institutions will also conduct an Entrance Exam in order to give admission.

It is mandatory that the candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in 12th class. Few Institutions may also ask for 70% of marks.

Soon after the completion of this course, definitely there will be number of job opportunities. As you will be joining this course in top institution, you can get job in the campus placements itself.

If you are interested to join this course, choose the university in which you would like to join this course and check yourself whether you are meeting the required eligibility criteria or not. After confirming that you are satisfying the required criteria, get the application form and duly fill it and submit back in the University.

Crack the respective selection procedure and confirm your admission in that university.

If you are not interested in doing Integrated MBA course, yes you can for 3 year Graduation course in BBA or B.Com and then for MBA course.

It is not that B.Com is a good choice and BBA is not. Soon after the completion of any of these courses, you are eligible to join MBA course. The only difference is that B.Com course will provide you knowledge more in the Commerce and Accounting area where as in BBA course, you will get knowledge on Administration side.

Choose the one which you are interested and make most out of it.
