I want to aske that if it is possible to persue more then 1 B.Tech degree.

For example:- B.Tech (civil) + B.Tech (CSE).


I know it is possible, as I a seen a person with 4 B.Tech degrees but what to know how?

Yes you can pursue more than one engineering degrees.
But you cant pursue them simultaneously. For once at a time you can pursue only a single engineering degree.
After completion of one you can pursue another.
But it would be more beneficial for you if you go for the M.tech degree, if you want to study further.

You can do integrated courses also to save the resources.

Following are some of the colleges which provide integrated courses:

1. Institute of Technology - Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

2. Thapar University - Patiala, Punjab

3. Indian Institute of Technology - New Delhi

4. The Institute of Integral Technology - Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Yes it is possible.you can do more than one B.Tech degree .

It is required that there should be no gap between two Degree.

But M.Tech is good after B.Tech.If you want to change your branch then you can change your branch in 3rd sem of your B.Tech degree.

dear friend,

yess it is possible to do more than one B-TECh degree.

but when you doing your full time B-TECh degree same time you have to do part time B-TECh degee.

also you can do part time B-TECh degree after your full time degree.

No,you cannot have two B.Tech degrees at the same time, and after completing a B.Tech graduation you will not be eligible for the another B.Tech degree because of the age limit and year of passing 12th class.

No it is impossible. He may be having fake degrees.

First of all there is no logic of having 2-3 BTech degrees. It is better to have one and excel in that field to Masters level that is MTech to gain excellent knowledge.

it is possible to do B.Tech in more than one stream but i think it is not a good choice to do B.Tech in two different stream. because if you want to take admission in two different stream of engineering then you have to do one after another. it will take lots of time and also you have to pay the total expense of engineering . also after completion of engineering in two stream it will be difficult to get job. because every company will ask you that why you have done engineering two times. it will be very difficult for you to give proper explanation of this question.

so it's better in which stream you have completed your engineering just built your career in that field. if you are not interested in that field then you should do higher education in a subject which is related to your interested subject. if you want to work in IT field then from any stream of engineering you may work in IT field.

otherwise you may do MBA after completion of engineering in one stream.for MBA any graduate students are eligible irrespective of their stream of study. so it's better to do MBA than to do again B.Tech in any other stream.

two different field doing engg. is not good idea
because time is waste but you have no profit to do
two degree.

So you go for higher study like M.TECH.......

you may get a two b.tech degree but one is the vocational is possible.one thing is sure that u can not get the two diffnt degree from the same University.so wat i feel is the vacational dont have much value infront of your regular degree. but you can spend another four years to get another bachelor degree from another institute like people mainly from afghanistan get twice the degree,once from their country and come to india and persue their secont time degree in our National institutes.

so this way it is possible,i feel and at a time means only the vocational one is possible.

It is possible to pursue more than one B.Tech degree but it is profeesional degree and course of degree are very hard and you work hard for clear sememster .
You have more opportunies in colleges to pursue Open electric.It is good option for pursue both degree.

A engg. in one any field is best for career.

This is not possible with the same university you can also try in the different university if they can provide this facility.

Ya of course you can pursue more than one engineering B.Tech degree .
But both of them not at a time . First you have to complete one degree and then you can go for the other engineering degree .

But it would be a waste of time and you won't gain anything from it .
Instead you should go for the master degree for higher education from the same branch in which you have done the b.tech degree .
This would increase your chances of getting the better jobs with better salary...

Also you can go for the integrated degree courses which is even more beneficial then the single b.tech degree because it saves lots of time and you even get the benefit of two degrees at a time ...
There are many colleges which provide dual degree now a days like ..

IIT delhi

and many others ...

Hello friend, ya it is possible but it's wastage of time. Totally 8years wasted. So you do any other higher studies courses like mba,mca......
