sir, i have a 52% marks at 10th and i got 61% at 12th. now i m doing b.e. and my branch is computer science and it is going well and i think i will get 70% above. can i sit wipro , tcs , mahindro, satyam campus placement??? m very worried about it!!plz somebody help!!!!

I am very sorry to say you that you are not eligible... because you don't have 60% marks in your 10th... the criteria is you must have 60% marks in your 10th,12th and in graduation... so sorry to say you that you are not eligible to sit in campus placement..

Am afraid you won't be able to attend some of the top companies like Wipro, TCS, Mahindra satyam etc... as you have only 52 % in 10th std.. the eligiblity criteria for top companies campus placement are as follows...

-> Candidate must have 60 % above in 10th, 12th and B.E.

-> No current arrears.

-> Good communication and Technical Skills.

-> Maximum of 3 years study gap.


POINTS TO NOTE :

-> But you don't have to worry, there are many companies where they won't see the 10th and 12th marks if you go for direct walk - in..

-> The main reason for 60 % in above in placements is because to avoid many students for the placement.

-> I have a friend of mine who was not able to attend any placement and still have 4 arrears but he has 2 job offers in his hand plus a business running by his own....So if you can do hard work in your current studies in college and come up with some innovative projects then for sure you will get a good job by the end of your degree...

because your career is not 60%

but you do not worry most company did not see career only see the B.TECH
your B.TECH is good .
then you have no tension to get a good job but some hard work needed..

then after you have experience then you jump to big company like

SATYAM

No, it is not possible for wipro, mahendra satyam and other software companies.The software companies selected the candidates based on degree marks which is above 75% without any blogsopt and also requires good communication skills and sofware skills.

its not possible for you to get into these companies through campus placement...but you can definitely try out other big and better ompanies which do not have such criteria....

i am pursuing engineering frm B.E. and i am in final year right now.my aggregate is just more than 60%.i expect to score more than 65% till the end of my academic year.so,im not sure about the campus selection as my college doesnt have it.so can i get a good job in big companies like Infosys through Walk-In process???

sir ,I have 62% in 10th and 58.5 % in 12th and doing my b.tech till now my b.tech percent is 70% so in which compay i may get the job..

Dear friend, many big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. require at least 60% in 10th and 12th board but this is for freshers. Several companies just consider your B. Tech/ B. E. percentage. If you have good percentage in BE, you can easily get into these companies. And after some experience, you can switch to TCS, Infosys etc.
Just keep in mind you should not have eny backlog in any subject in any sem. Just maintain your consistency and focus on your communication skills and body language.

Hello, My 10th std aggregate is 59%, 12th std aggregate is 70% and ug aggregate is 71%, because of just 1% lacking in my 10th std, i'am just behind every top companies... I finished my B.Tech(IT) on 2010, I could'nt attend the top companies wakin even though i'am skilled. Could you please suggest me some good companies that would match my academic profile.

I secured low percentage in 10th-46.66%, Diploma in ComptrScience-56.55%. Will i be able to get a good job in IT sector at beginning even after showing my better skills in academic career?

I am very sorry but you can't sit for these companies as the criterion is 60% or above in 10th,12th,and btech, but there are lots of companies where you can apply , after some work experience you can come to these companies.

I'm so sorry to tell you that Your 10th standard marks is below 60%.So you can not apply in TCS or WIPRO or SATYAM.

Criteria for most of the MNC:

1.NO backlogs.
2.Maximum gap of 2 years.
3.60% throught your academic session.

For both of that IT companies the requirement criteria is almost same.
They normally wants 60% throughout your academic career.
No pending backlogs should not be there.
maximum 2years of study gap after 12th standard is allowed.

Sorry friend,You don't have above 60%in 10th standard,so you can not appear for TCS or SATYAM or WIPRO.

dude, you are eligible for wipro, but i am sorry to say you are not eligible for tcs and mahindra satyam.

the criteria for wipro is-

50% in 10th and 12th
60% in graduation

for tcs and mahindra satyam-

60% throughout (from 10th onwards)
also, this is enforced very strictly. so although you have a good aggregate in b.e., they will not allow you to appear.

you can also apply for companies like accenture etc. which do not consider 10th marks, only graduation marks, companies like syntel etc. which consider only 50% in 10th or companies like l and t infotech, dell, hp, mindtree etc. which ask for 60% throughout but will allow you to appear for their recruitment provided you have good aggregate in graduation. i suggest you find out about such companies by interacting with the placement officer, alumni of your college etc.

Sorry you cant attend the above mentioned companies because you have less marks in 10th.
All companies you have mentioned will ask minimum of 60% in 10th and PU.

BUT many companies are there they ask minimum of 50% in academics.

So don't worry,Try to search in news papers and internet.

Sorry to say you are not eligible for TCS and mahindra satyam as your 10th percentage is less than 60%.
Because these two campanies looking for candidates which having more than 60% through out career.
But dont loose hope.
You can apply for wipro,one of the best IT comapny in India for freshers.wipro luking for candidates carrer more than 50%.so you are eligible wipro.
Later you can jump to TCS and Satyam after experience.
