After successfully qualified in IAS Examination , You may send for an Training and Completing the Training you may get District Collector post / Deputy Commissioner .

IAS stand for Indian Administrative Officer and this Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission for every years . The Examination is divided into three levels namely , Preliminary Examination (or) Civil Service Aptitude Test / Main Examination and Interview .

To apply for IAS Examination , You have to satisfy the eligibility Criteria ,

Eligibility Criteria Required for IAS Examination :-

>>> Nationality :- You should be Citizen of India .

>>> Academic Qualification :- You should Complete three years bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university. Pass Mark is enough to apply for this IAS Examination . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .

>>> Age Limit :- Your age should be 21 years to 30 years and relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates and obc candidates .

>>> Number for Attempts :- Every candidates are permitted to apply for Attempt Examination Four times . If any candidates violating t the guide lines then their Application will be Rejected and relaxation will applicable for , OBC candidates for 7 times and there is no Limit for sc/st candidates .

>>> Negative Marking :- You have to note that there will Negative Marking for Wrong answers . So Far each wrong answers you loose your marks which you have already gained .

If your satisfy the eligibility Criteria then you may apply for this Examination in Online Mode by Visiting the Official website of UPSC . This Examination Civil Service Examination is already get over . So please wait for next notification . The Examination Application form Rs. 50 for General candidates and Free for SC/ST candidates .

To be eligible for this exam, you must in the age group 21-30 yrs (relaxation for reserved category). Number of attempts are also limited, 4 for general, 6 for OBC, while SC/ST no limit.

This examination is conducted in these 2 stages, preliminary examination and Main examination.
