Procedure to join CBI after completing B.Com?
I'm a B.Com graduate, interested to join in the CBI. Let me know the procedures or the way for that.

To join CBI you have to clear UPSC exam .
ELIGIBILITY : graduate from recognized college or universities.There is no specific stream requirement. Those who have completed 21 years of age are eligible to appear. You can appear when you are in the final year of graduation. You will need to first clear the CSAT level and then the Mains and finally the interview. |

The CBI is a specialized wing of the central government
which handles only a BIG special cases. Procedure to Join: To join the CBI, you need to appear for the Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC. The exam is held every year. Educational Qualification: Graduate from any field can apply. Age Limits: For CBI Assistant grade & Sub-Inspector, candidate must be between 20-27 years. For more details, visit: www.cbi.nic.in |

A) Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. OR A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3) pattern/11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration. OR A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation / SSC (old pattern) / SSLC/ 10th Std. examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST / EX-Servicemen / PWD, the educational qualification is relaxed as below: A pass in HSC examination (10+2) of 10+2+3 pattern/11th Std. examination of 11+1+3 pattern / Pre-University or equivalent examination. OR A pass with 50% marks in the aggregate in matriculation / SSC (old pattern) SSLC / 10th Std. in (10+2+3) pattern or equivalent examination. Note: For Ex-Servicemen (who do not possess the above) a pass in service (Departmental) Examination which is recognized to civil examination not below the rank of Higher Secondary School Examination. All Educational Qualifications should be from Recognized University / Central / State / U.T. Administration. Should be able to write and speak English fluently. The Central Bureau Investigation(CBI),the base of administrative branch of India, provides the information relating to corruption in Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Undertakings which is directly or indirectly devoted for the Investigation, Anti Corruption, Economic Offences, Special Crimes.
Eligibility for appearing CBI exam :- 1) Age :- Your's age must lie between :- (a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI (b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc., (c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination. The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of SC,ST,OBC. 2) Educational Qualification :- You should have a degree of a recognized University or equivalent. |

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) For getting jobs in CBI you must have to clear the CGPE (COMBINED GRADUATE PRE ENTRANCE EXAM) conducted by SSC board every years. Educational qualification- for appear in this exam you must have to complete your graduation in any stream from a recognized college. Age limit- the age limit for this exam is 20-27, there are 5 & 3 years of age relaxations are also applicable for SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively. EXAM PATTERN- thanks!!! |

to join in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) you need to appear for CGPE (Combined Graduate preliminary Exam)
The eligibility for CGPE includes: education:minimum a Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. age:you should be between 20 to 27 years(relaxation is given to SC/ST-5 years and OBC -3years) you should be physically fit with correct height weight and eye sight. To start a carer in CBI, SSC is the only medium to join CBI. Besides that officers from state police gets deputation to join CBI. If you appear in Civil services Exam conducted by UPSC and manage to succeed and get IPS you can join CBI at a higher level. |

Central Bureau of Investigation is the top most investigation agency in the country.It investigates the top and big cases in the country.For getting into that you need to write the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The Eligibility details of the posts is as follows:
HEIGHT: For Male-165 cms. For Female-150 cms. CHEST: MALE- 76 cms. No such requirement for females. Good Eye Sight. EXAM PATTERN: The exam pattern is as follows. 1.Preliminary Examination. 2.Main Examination. In the Preliminary Examination,there are two papers.Paper 1 consists of General Awareness and General Intelligence.It consists of 100 questions and for 100 marks.The duration of the exam is 2 hours.In the Paper 2 there are 100 questions for 100 marks and all the questions are on Arithmetic only.Even the duration of this paper is 2 hours.Keep in mind that qualifying in the preliminary examination will not offer you a job,this will make you eligible for the Main examination.Coming to the final examination,the candidates who have passed in the preliminary examination are only allowed for the Main examination.
