No, you are not eligible to join Merchant Navy now. The minimum required qualification to join merchant navy is candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with PCM as main paper.

The minimum qualification for Merchant Navy is +2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics from any recognized board.
Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy are:-
Candidate must be under age of 20 years. There is a relaxation in age of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Unmarried candidates are eligible.

After 12th you can get the deck cadet job in merchant navy. For better job opportunities in merchant navy you have to complete graduation with marine engineering or B.Sc nautical science.
