Re: Procedure to pursue CA course after completion of B.Com?
Dear sir;
If you wish to go for CA after B.com it will take 4 years, if you pass in first attempt. first you have to appear for CPT1 which is an entrance for it, then CPT2 which is intermediate. once you get through then enrol for the, article ship with a firm of chartered accountants which is of 3years. then you have your final ca exam and passing the same you become chartered accountant. but why wait till B.com do it after your 12Th and pursue simultaneously your B.Com Common Proficiency Test Course usually known as CPT or CPC is an Entry Level for Chartered Accountancy Course. So anyone looking to take up CA as their Profession should pass through this level. previously the B.Com or Above qualification holders were given an option to directly appear the Second Level i.e., CA-PCC (Then it was CA-Inter); But the New Format makes it Compulsory for everyone irrespective of their higher Qualifications to write CPT Exam. |

Re: Procedure to pursue CA course after completion of B.Com?
Procedure to apply for CA after B.Com? Unlike previously adopted practice where the B.Com or Above qualification gives an option of directly Writing the Second Level i.e., CA-PCC (Then it was CA-Inter) the New Format makes it Compulsory for everyone irrespective of their higher Qualifications to write CPT Exam but New format is still not approved by the government . According to old rule a B.Com students can skip one part of CPT exam and can appear directly in IPCC exam.For a B.Com student it is necessary to get at least 55%.Admissions are open throughout the year so you can take admission at any time. This time the CPT is conducted on 18th December 2011. For more information read the Notification which is under approval by government.Click Here to read the Notification For applying visit the official website -http://www.icai.org/ With Regards ravik1214 |

Re: Procedure to pursue CA course after completion of B.Com?
Dear,
CA stands for Charted Accounts. CA course consists of 2 stages:
After clearing CPT only you can appear for IPCC. IPCC is the second stage of CA course.With our clearing CPT you can not appear for IPCC. But there was a change in this procedure by the Government. You have to minimumof 60% in graduation for appear for IPCC directly and if your from commerce background you need to have 55%. All the best............ |
