Is production and mechanical engineering the same?


i'm a production engg(degree). It is same as mechanical engg. Am i eligible for this exam

Not actualy the boath stream are not totaly same. Or more properly we can say mechanical enggineering involves production as its sub branch.
Mechanical enggineering is a broad branch. A degree holder in mechanical may move towards design, production, programing, automobile etc. But at the same time degree holder from production have to remain stick to production only.
Although they both involve same subjects but production have seperate focous for production related subject.
