If I do my law degree in distances I can become a judge what exams required to become a judge what are the qualification. required to become a judge After completing my LLB I need practice to become a judge. Is it compulsory

The eligibility criteria for becoming Judge are as under :-

-The candidate must be an Indian .

-The candidate must have passed LLB degree from a recognized university .

-The candidate needs to appear in the State Judicial Service Exam to become eligible to apply for the post of a judge .

-The candidate must have practiced as a lawyer in the high court for more than 10 years to become eligible to appear for the State Judiciary exam conducted by respective states.

-The minimum age requirement to become a judge is 45 years .

Eligible candidate has to send the application to the Register General of the concerned court .

-> The Candidates must have a LLB Degree from any recognized University.

-> To get the LLB Degree, you have to appear in the CLAT Exam or other entrance test conducted by the Universities of India.

You have completed LLB course through distance mode so you are not eligible for Judge.

Candidates should have completed Graduation in Law from a recognized University with good academic record are eligible to become a Judge.

Your age should be in between 21 to 35 years.
