Re: Qualifications for Civil Engineering?
You can apply for the Civil engineering course after completing your 12th class. The main eligibility criterion is that you should have science as your major subject in the 12th class level. You should have scored at least 50%marks in the 12th class. The selection for this course is mainly through an All India Entrance examination. Based on the score that you secure in the entrance exam, you will be selected for the civil engineering.

about civil engineering : Engineering is a term applied to the profession in which a knowledge of the mathematical and natural sciences, gained by study, experience, and practice, is applied to the efficient use of the materials and forces of nature. Engineers are the ones who have received professional training in pure and applied science. Before the middle of the 18th century, large-scale construction work was usually placed in the hands of military engineers. Military engineering involved such work as the preparation of topographical maps, the location, design, and construction of roads and bridges; and the building of forts and docks . Re: Qualifications for Civil Engineering?
My dear friend,
Civil engineering is one of the branch or stream or field of engineering and have great scope in future so it is on high demand. So my friend,go for it and make the great interest in it. TO apply for it,you must have completed your 12th with in non-medical stream and after it you have to apply through AIEEE entrance exam. AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Exam and it is given after completion of 12th with non-medical to enter into the field of engineering. Now the AIEEE comes in the form of JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) and it has two papers: 1.JEE Main 2.JEE Advance JEE Main is the one paper and the student who want to get an admission in any university or college can give this entrance exam. And the students who clear the JEE Main entrance exam and want to get an admission in NIT or IIT can do the JEE Advance entrance exam. There are lots of engineering streams other than civil. You can do any one. Streams in engineering: 1.COmputer science engineering 2.Information technology 3.Civil Engineering 4.Mechanical Engineering 5.Aeronautical Engineering 6.Food technology 7.Biotechnology 8.Electrical Engineering 9.Electronics and communication Engineering 10.Nanotechnology and many more. Thank u!! |
