Dear Sir,
This is Anant Parghi from Surat. I am working as a Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mechanics at S V National Institute of Technology,Surat.I have some query regarding eligibility criteria for Sainik School Balachadi. My son date of birth is 9th sept. 1997 and write now he is studying in 7th standard in Gujarati medium. we are belongs to schedule caste. I want to get admission of my son in next academic year for 9th standard. My question is will he eligible for entrance examination for 9the standard. I have doubt in eligibility criteria for example this time For Class IX- Born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 1997 (Both days inclusive).

your son would be between 13 and 14 years to take admission in Class IX,as the age of your son is 12 years now and he is in 7th std so he will get admission when he is 14 yr and completed his 8th class .

It would be better to meet principal or admission co-ordinator,they will provide you detailed solution for it.

yes he will be eligible for admission to sainik school next year because next year the age criteria will be--'Born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 1998.so your son's date of birth falls in between two dates,and hence eligible

i dont know the eligiblity of sanik school, it is better to direct meet the principal or admission authority, they ill help you better.

to enter into sainik school you have to prepare well for their entraance test...every academic session they conduct an entrance student for fresh students...

this is ajay chauhan from fatehgarh cantt. i want to know weather my bro is eligible for saink school entrance exam or not i.e right now he is studying in class 8 th class and his date of birth is 01-01-2000.i also know the date at which application form are available.
