Required qualification and steps to join Indian Army?
I want to join Indian army but I don't know what all are the steps so tell me steps and related qualification details of it.

See, first of all you need to mention your qualification. Then only on that basis we can help you. This is because Indian army recruits after intermediate though NDA. The eligibility criteria for selection in NDA are given as follow- 1. Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years. 2. At least intermediate cleared with any stream. 3. Male candidate 4. Unmarried candidate. After graduation, through various exams like 1) CDS 2) University Entry schemes 3) Direct Entry 4) Exams like AFCAT etc. |

The candidates are recruited in Indian Army through the CDS and NDA exam conducted by UPSC. The qualification required to join Indian army are following:-
For CDS (Combined Defense Services) exam; - Educational qualification for; *Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy-graduation degree from a recognized university. *Indian Naval Academy-B.Sc. with Mathematics and Physics/Bachelor of Engineering *Indian Air Force Academy-Senior Secondary Level degree with Mathematics and Physics/Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of technology. -The age limit are; *Indian Military Academy-19 yrs to 24 yrs. *Indian Naval Academy-19 yrs to 22 yrs. *Indian Air Force Academy-19 yrs to 23 yrs. *Officer's Training Academy-19 yrs to 25 yrs . For NDA(National Defense Academy); -The educational qualification is senior secondary level degree in any stream for Indian Army and 10+2 degree with Physics and Mathematics for Indian Navy and Air Force. -The age limit to apply for NDA exam is 16.5 yrs to 19 yrs. The nationality of candidate should be Indian to apply for any defense services exam. |

In order to join Indian army at the rank of officer you can either crack either NDA exams or CDS exams .
NDA stands National Defense Academy and the CDS stands for Combined Defense Services . Both the examinations are held by Union Public Service Commission twice every year . For NDA exams :- You must be an unmarried male candidate . Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19 years . You must have done your 12th or pursuing the final of same with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subject from an recognized school/college of a recognized board . For CDS exams :- You must have done your graduation with any of the stream of your liking from a recognized university . Your age for this wing must be within 19 years to 24 years . You can join Indian Army through NDA exam.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year. Eligibility criteria :- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings. Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam. Age limit:- Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam. Height for Army Wings - 157.5 cms. |

There is three method through which you can join India Army.The first process to join Indian Army is to go through NDA and the second process is throgh CDS.
And the third method through which you can turn in India Army is to go through the SSC-El or through the "university Entry Schemes" firmly Known as UES. If you have completed you B.tech then you will have to go through UES,as it is for the students who have a technical degree like engineering and some other technical courses. Vacancies Per Course : 60 (Once a year) Eligibility Criteria :--->> Age between 18 and 24 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence Qualification:-->> Pre Final year students of Engineering Degree Course Marital Status:-->> Un Married Application to be Received by:-->> To apply online as per Notification Likely SSB Date:-->> commences in Jul/Aug during final year Date Commencement of Trg:-->> Jul at IMA Dehradun And if you have completed your Graduation then you can go through the CDS entrance exam. There are several entrance examinations conducted at different educational qualification level which gives you chance to join Indian Army.
The first step in joining Indian Army is to become eligible for the entrance exam then second step is to appear for the exam and crack all the stages. At 10+2 level: 1. National Defense Academy entrance exam >>Any candidate who has passed or appearing for 10+2 from a recognized board can apply for this exam. >>Age limit should be between 16.5-19.5 years. >>You must be unmarried male. This exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission. The notification for NDA II will be out on 20/06/2015. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for the exam at www.upsconline.nic.in 2. Technical Entry Scheme This scheme gives you chance to directly appear for the Service Selection Board if you have secured better percentage of marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level. You can appear for NDA exam as soon as you are done with 12 class.
Eligibility for National Defence Academy exam:- Nationality: A candidate must be either: (a) A citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee Age limit: 16.5 to 19 years. Sex and martial status: Unmarried male candidate Educational Qualifications: For admission to the examination, you must have (any one of the following): For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. To join Indian Army you have to successfully clear National Defence Academy(NDA) examination after class XII. NDA is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). Eligibility criteria for NDA: --> Academic Qualification: Must complete 12th board examination with PCM subject and at least score 50% in PCM. --> Age: Must be at least 16.5 to 19 years. --> Citizenship: Indian. --> Gender: Male. --> Marital Status: Unmarried. the qualification required to be an Indian army officer is minimum 12th where you can apply for the N.D.A. (National defense service) Exam which is conducted by UPSC department of India every year. The exam is conducted for all the three wings of armed forces-
Indian Navy Indian Army Indian air force Where eligibility criteria for N.D.A._ >> Candidate should be Indian and must passed the 12th class from a recognized board of schooling education or state board of schooling education. >> Having not any backlog in 12th standard and also physically fir with eye sight 6/6. >> A subject of Nepal can also apply for the N.D.A. >> Candidate to be upto 19years old to apply for N.D.A. and also should be an unmarried male candidate.
