hello,
the scope of biotechnology is wide both in India as well as abroad. the field is new therefore there are few problems being faced however it is expected that with the span of time it will see a bright future. But at present there are less job opportunities for those doing or had done B.TECH in biotechnology. One has to do M.TECH after it in order to have better job and salary. they are absorbed by companies indulged in petrol bodies, food, bio instruments, fermentation etc.
