Scope of law in civil service? Which books should I refer?
Whether taking law as an optional for civil service is a wise option? I am a law graduate. Can u tell me, which another optional would go along with law optional? Can you also please suggest me some law books widely prescribed for civil service main examination? I am interested in Public Administration too. So please suggest me those books also.

Re: Scope of law in civil service? Which books should I refer?
If you are a law graduate then law would be the best optional subject for you to appear in the Civil Services mains examination. Earlier there were provisions of two subjects in optional paper but now there is only subject and two papers of three hundred marks are conducted.
So, you can select law as an optional subject and give two papers of it in mains exam after qualifying the preliminary examination. Yes it is marks fetching subject for law graduate. Some of the best law books for preparation: >>Books on Indian Penal Code: K.D Gaur. >>Law of Tort: Winfield. >>Constitutional law: M.P Jain. >>Law of Contract: Avatar Singh. >>Mercantile law: R.K Bangia. |
