Myself tejashri.i have completed my b.com graduation dis year from mumbai university and i have secured 42.26%(open caste) so am i eligible for getting admission in llb(3 yr course) in mumbai university?

You will have to give improvement exams.you must go to ur university website

This is very to say that for admission in LLB you must have at least 50% marks in your graduation.

Dear friend,
your percentage is not enough to get admission in llb,atleast 50% required,
but you can contact with some colleges in mumbai...

yes you are eligible for LLB because the minimum percentage is 40 for general and 35 % for sc/st students so are completely eligible

Obviously you are eligible for three LLB course.But you have to face entrance test.After qualifying the exam you will get admission.

improvement exam is ur previous exams which u had appeared will have to appear again & by this u could improve ur%age.if u don't find consult bookseller or ur college principal

yea you are eligible for three years LLB course.

but there are some institution where they want minimum of 50% marks to take admission there. you will not be eligible for that type of institution.

to take admission you have to give entrance examination. according to your marks and position in the entrance examination you will be able to choose your institution.

there are some private institution also. they admitted student without any marks. sometime taking some money they give opportunity to take admission in their institution in three years LLB course. you may try for it also.

For doing LLB the minimum eligibility criteria is 50% in graduation in any stream ....since you have less so better to go for B.A.L.L.B for which minimum eligibility criteria is 12th pass but i think if you choose this then your graduation will be wasted !! you need to search colleges who take 40% eligibility criteria but that will be less!!

Hi, Tejashri, yes dear you are eligible for llb and you don't have to do 5 years llb course. you can finish your llb in 3 years because after the graduation a student can complele his/her llb with in 3 years

A B.A/ BSc/ B.com graduate with 40% is eligible to give entrance test of LLB. For the open caste a garduate should have 40% but a SC/ST graduate with 35% marks is eligible for the entrance test.

The eligibility criteria is as follows-
-one should have a bachelors degree with BA/BSC/BCOM with a minimum of 40% of marks

-in case of sc/st candidates it is just 35%

-there is also 2% weightage to the post graduate holders

-for taking admission in the law course, the students have to give a entrance test followed by personal interview.


After the completion of course, you have good job prospects.

I scored 43 % in my Graduation (B.Com - Pass Course) from Delhi University - Correspendence. I was General Category (Muslim) Student.

a) So far I Know for SC/ST candidates the minimum percentage is 45 %
b) For General Category Students the minimum percentage is 50 %

I would like to know whether I am eligible for 3 years LLB Degree program. My present age is 33.

To do LLB from Mumbai university you need to have 40% in graduation for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST.
So you are eligible for the same.

Yes friend, you are eligible for the course.

The minimum criteria is:

The person should be a graduate like B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. degree with minimum 40% marks (35% for SC / ST).
So you are eligible....don't worry about that.

For applying, you have to sit for exams like CLAT, LAWCET etc.

The Entrance Exam is written test where questions are based on Reasoning, Mathematics, English and General Knowledge.

So prepare yourself for the exam.

Unfortunately you are not eligible for LLB course. The requirement for general students to apply for 3 years LLB course is minimum of 45 percent marks. If you want admission in Delhi University then the requirement is 50 percent marks in graduation course.


Therefore you are not eligible for LLB. Most colleges would require 45 percent marks. You should consider some other course. Although if you are very keen on LLB then pursue it after post graduation. But ensure that you meet the requirement percentage in the post graduation course.


Please do not go for correnpondence/open university degree for LLB because they are not recognized by the Bar Council of India. You won't be able to appear in court as a lawyer with such degrees. Only apply for LLB through regular mode.



Eligibility

1. A graduation/post graduation degree in any stream.

2. Minimum of 45 percent marks in graduation.

3. There is 5 percent relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

4. The age limit for LLB is 30 years.

5. Age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST.
