I am SC(PHC) completed MCA(66%) i iam confused to choose private or government sector please give good suggestion please provide information, good jobs with high salary in government sector. is there no life after 15years in IT industry?if no tell reason? what should I do please tell me!

Since you have done MCA, you will get opportunities in both private as well as public sector. It depends completely on you which one you want to opt. In the recent times, there has been a rapid increase in the demand of computer engineers in both the sector and therefore, it is assumed that the future is going to be very rewarding for candidates holding this qualification.
As you have mentioned about the life after 15 years in IT industry, its completely untrue. IT is a growing industry and is likely to be one of the most prominent industry compared to other. Having 15 years of experience in this field will keep you on top of the industry provided you keep yourself qualified enough to meet new challenges in this industry.

hello, i have done b.sc(science).i have also done A level frm Doeacc.presently i am in final sem of Doeacc B level.is there any chances of gettng job in IT sector?please inform me abt the same

First think i need to know is that if there was mathematics in your BA syllabus. If yes then you can obviously go for MCA as eligibility criteria for MCA entrance is :-
1) Nationality :- Indian.
2) Educational Qualification :- 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of :
(i) 12th level with Mathematics and
(ii) bachelor’s degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized university with any of the subjects - (a) mathematics (b) statistics (c) business mathematics (d) discrete mathematics (e) mathematical foundations of computer science (f) business statistics (g) computational mathematics (h) elementary mathematics (i) elementary statistics .

So, as you don't write about your subjects in BA then if you are eligible then go for MCA.


MCA application form will available from the month of March and exam is generally held on :- May.

Dear Friend,

You have both the option available. You can go in the Govt sector as well as in the Private sector.
In Private sector you can apply in the Giant IT companies like the Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL etc.
In the govt. sector you are eligible to various officer rank jobs. The selection of various govt. officer is done through the examination conducted by the UPSC or the SSC or any other state Public Service Commission.
And you have wrong information that after 15 years in IT Industry your life will be finished. In fact after 15 years you have a lot of experience and professional capabilities and you will be more exposed for different kinds of jobs related to your knowledge.

After completion of MCA course you will get job opportunities from giant IT sectors..

In govt. sector you will not get much job opportunity.

So, My suggestion will be to go for a job first whether it is in private sector or it is in govt. sector..

As you have secured 66% aggregate in MCA course then you don't have any problem at the time of appearing in Campus drive of any company.

In IT sector you can apply for jobs in companies like-

1.CTS
2.TCS
3.INFOSYS
4.WIPRO
5.IBM
etc..
So, go for these jobs..

The MCA completed degree holders have plenty of opportunities in both government and private sectors.The govt jobs which you can apply are
BSNL,
UPSC jobs,
Bank jobs,
Railway jobs,
Army jobs,
Defence jobs,
NTPC,
OIL,
SAIL,
Air force etc.
You can also take the career as private sector in the companies like INFOSYS,WIPRO,MINDTREE,TCS etc.

you have completed mca with good percentage,congratulation.Think what u want to do private job and govt.i think today govt jobs are more secure than private job.in private job there are lots of pressure,loads of work.In govt service there are security,increments year by year.i think you should go for govt job not private

i think if you go for government sector you might not get good opportunities,but you can apply for private sector and prepare for GATE to get good government opportunities...

No,its wrong that there is no life in IT sector.If you have the Knowledge and love your Job then there is always something to do related to your job/Field.

However its your choice that which sectors you should join as per your knowledge.

After doing MCA you can also get jobs in Government sectors related to your Profession.Some of the Jobs which is related to your filed are :-

Banking Sector -->>Information technology officer.

• You can get job in this sector through IBPS Specialist officer exam.
• Minimum marks required to get appear in this exam is 60%.
• Minimum age required t appear in this exam is 20 years.

Indian Air-Force -->>Radar Maintainer/Technical department

• You can get jobs in this organization through AFCAT Exam.
• Your minimum age should be 21 years.
• Your minimum marks should be 60% in MCA.

Apart from these there are various government jobs in which you can apply.Such as :-
