1. Do a good starting salary matters?
2. Mass recruiters like infosys, tcs pay 3-3.5 lakh/annum. so i get such company then is it worth to join? or i should prepare for mba?

You need to decide based on what you ultimately want to achieve. If you are getting a good salary now means after an MBA you should earn more than that. So first you need to decide whether you have the resource (money) to do an MBA first and then go to work. Second you need to do an MBA from a reputed institute. Mostly candidates with work experience are preferred. But if you have a good academic record and have a good score in the entrance exam and also fair well in the interview then the institute will surely take you in. You can prepare for entrance exam and job interview at the same time and see which option gives better result.

Initially you need to set your goal before taking a step to join a course.
Of course btech is not a big degree so it is necessary to do master degree also...But inorder to do anycourse interest should be there.........
Anyways MBA has a great future......any branch student can opt for MBA if you have interest in it.....
A btech background student will have more opportunity in placements of MBA
So i suggest you to do MBA after you btech completion.

I think you shold go for those jobs,Because those are reputated MNC,and also your salary level is not bad...

You can take a MBA distence education with your job...

its totally up to you.if you want a immediate job than you can but MBA is the best option after B.Tech because it will increase your knowledge,efficiency as well as package.most of the peoples doing MBA after B.Tech because of the demand in the market

there always have been this question with students that whether they should go for job or higher studies like MBA after the BTech...actually i would love to see people going for MTech rather than any of this two options...anyways if i had to chose from job and MBA i would prefer MBA as studying once in go after another will be much easier for me...but it will always depend on individual to chose what they want...so look at yourself...see whether are you really ready for job or not...if yes go for job...or else try MBA...either is not bad if you do good and enjoy!

see I will suggest that , if you get selected in such IT companies grab that opportunity , You can do MBA later on.

After doing MBA , even if you are good at technical , you won't be able to do technical job in such big companies.

If you are good at technical then try for a job in a good company.But as a matter of fact you are made to work for long hours in IT companies.So the trend today is most of the
B.tech graduates are opting to do MBA thinking the amount that you will be paid is quite high after the mba .But it is true only if you do mba from a good college which provides you
the placement opportunities.
So write cat exam join if you get a good college else don't leave any better job opportunity that comes your way
