Re: Should I do M.Com or MBA after completion of B.Com?
After B.Com, the next best option is a post graduate degree. If interested, you can apply for PG course in same subject area. On the other hand, those who want to build career in management, MBA is a good choice. Scope after pursuing the same from reputed institutes certainly is more than M.Com. You should opt for M.Com only if you are interested in taking teaching assignment or along with it you plan to take up any of the courses like CA, CS, ICWA.

Re: Should I do M.Com or MBA after completion of B.Com?
It is upto you to make the choice according to your interest.
I think MBA is a better option after B.Com. but you must get admission in a good college if you want to do MBA. You can also opt for CA course after B.Com. graduation as most of the commerce graduates do . CA is one of the best careers for a commerce student. If you want to become a lecturer in college then you have to do M.Com. and qualify UGC NET. So it will be your choice what you want to do and where your interest lies. For MBA you have to crack exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT etc with a good percentile to get a top college. Getting a top college will ensure that you get good education and campus placement is their in top MBA colleges. The highest salary is given to MBA from IIMs in India. Hence if you want to aim then aim for IIMs through CAT exam if you want to do MBA. |

Re: Should I do M.Com or MBA after completion of B.Com?
Dear sir,
That's a good thing that you want's to do further studies. According to me I will prefer you to do MBA. Because when you do MBA it give you a better direction in your life like you will have more option for different jobs with good salary package. It will help you to advance your career with good salary potential. Since you have to work hard for this. But you can easily do it. MBA make your career life level different from other under graduate students or people. It's help you to achieve success in life. But remember do MBA only if you are interested in Business and Administration. As you know life is become very tough and complicated and also there are many competitors in our life to compete us. So to become better from them do MBA and get enormous opportunity in life to become success. And I m not preferring you M.com because for good job with good salary and good living standard in future M.com is not a better option. Since there are many students who do M.com and many other degree of graduation. At this point the competition become more tough since the ratio between the person and job is 10000:1. That means for a single job there are 10000 person for applying. So I recommend you MBA for better future. And good luck for your future. |

Dear Aspirant, Doing Mcom will only get you a master degree and a few improvements in your software knowledge and get a overview on the all software used in the market in the present. It is mostly same portion with some small changes to the Bcom. But where as the MBA it is very different to that of Mcom. You cannot compare two different courses. But the job opportunities for MBA graduate has more than the Mcom student. So i suggest you to do a MBA degree rather than the Mcom degree. That will create a different career which can change your life.So all the best of luck for your decision. All the best for your future endeavor's. Any more Queries. Don't Hesitate to ask me. Am happy to help you always. Just ping to my profile. Best Regards, Sampath. |

Re: Should I do M.Com or MBA after completion of B.Com?
Dear,
why are you so confused with your own life and future plans. What to choose is all about your interest. No one else can better decide what is good for you. You should listen to yourself. Now, let think a while, why you chose B.Com? You must have had opted for B.Com either of your interest or being a line available to you that time, or may be something else. -If you find yourself interested in the same subject and wanted to to know more about your very own subject then continue your studies in the same line. It will surely enhance your knowledge and your perspective for the same. Then go for M.Com. -If you are not satisfied with your stream, finding it not any more interesting and want to add up some plus points to your skills-> Knowledge of management + Technical knowledge then go for MBA. Both field have a good future in respect of salary, opportunities and job prospect. But, if you have good communicating skill, find yourself confident enough to deal with people easily, want to do something governing moreover want to earn crores! then you should opt for MBA. With Regards |

Re: Should I do M.Com or MBA after completion of B.Com?
Soon after completion of your Graduation in B.Com, you are eligible to join both the courses like
MBA M.Com at your Post Graduation level. The duration of both the courses will be 2 years and you have to give Entrance Exam in order to get admission for any of these courses. To get admission for M.Com course, each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam. But to get admission for MBA course, you should crack any of the following Entrance Exams CAT MAT GMAT etc. You should have scored a minimum of 50% of marks in Graduation in order to be eligible to apply for the Entrance Exams. Its not that M.Com is a right choice for you and MBA is not a good one. Both the courses will be having its own career scope and job opportunities for the candidates. You can choose the one which you are interested and where your strengths and knowledge are being fully utilized. If you want to be strong enough in domain knowledge, opt for M.Com course. In contrast to this, if you want to gain managerial and business knowledge along with the core knowledge, then opt for MBA course. Wish you all the best. |
