Re: What is the difference between M.Com and MBA?
If you want to go into business, don't get the MA degree. You should get either an MBA or an MS in some business field, such as MS in finance, or marketing, or accounting. However, for the MS you may need an undergraduate background in that field, whereas MBA programs accept students with any undergraduate background.
MBA stands for Masters (degree) in Business Administration. An M.A. is a Master of Arts, and can be gained in a wide variety of different subjects, but not usually Business. A Masters degree in Business or a related subject will usually be an MSc (Master of Sciences), not an M.A. |

M.B.A is totally different for M.Com. M.B.A is a professional Course bu M.Com is just a Post graduation course. After passing M.Com you will become College profeffar But after passing M.B.A you will get job in Privet or Govt. Company. For admission in top college you have to qualify the entrance exam like:- > C.A.T > M.AT > X.A.T > G.M.A.T > S.A.T etc ALL THE BEST! |

Re: What is the difference between M.Com and MBA?
Dear Friend
Though both M.com and M.B.A are master'd degree but there is lots of difference between them. M.B.A stands for the Master of Business Administration. It is a two year master's degree course in business administration. It is one of the best option for the BBA ( bachelor of business administration) candidates .However any body who has done his bachelor's degree with minimum of 50% are eligible ofr this course. Candidates need to clear the different entrance examinations like GMAT,CAT,MAT,XAT,SNAP in order to get admission in top B schools. The best institutes for pursuing MBA are Indian Institute of Management. On the other hand M.com stand for the Master of commerce. It is one of the best option for the candidates who have done their bachelor of commerce. No entrance examination is conducted .The college in which you want take admission conducts entrance examinations. However after B.com you are eligible for both M.B.A and M.COM ,now it depends upon you in which field you want to shape your career as both have lots of future career scope. Hope the information helps you. all the best aashisranjan784 |

Re: What is the difference between M.Com and MBA?
To be frank and precise,
In Mcom = you study about all the main subjects of commerce and in the last year (2nd year) you choose two subjects and one compulsory subject to get your masters degree. Whereas in Masters of Business you study all the terms and kinds of business. So decision is yours... Top Universities in India Delhi Technological University, Delhi University of Calcutta SASTRA University, Thanjavur Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam Lovely Professional University, Punjab Good Luck |
