Re: Should I go for Science Stream? What's the scope of Science Stream?
Well it depends upon your own interest and your 10th result.
Lets have a brief discussion on what science had at +2. We can devide science at +2 in two parts. 1) Pure Science: This has subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Famously known as PCM. Pure science is generally opted by candidates those are good in Maths and wanted to explore there career in Engineering, Aeronautics and Space science etc. In India for persuing Engineering ie; B.E./B.Tech it is mandatory to appear for entrance exam. There are number of exams today some famous ones are- IITJEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, KIITEE etc. 2) Impure Science: This has subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Famously known as PCB. Impure science is generally opted by candidates those are not so strong in Maths but good enough in Biology for exploring career in Medical, Biotech, Nanotech, Genetics etc. Entrance are here also for getting into bachelor degree like- AIIMS Medical Entrance, AIPMT, state level entrance etc. Now decision is yours Remember no one can judge yourself better then you yourself. |

Re: Should I go for Science Stream? What's the scope of Science Stream?
Also, see what your interests are. Your dreams and interests matter. Accordingly you could choose your further studies. Science is a good option. However, you could check if your interests lie in the field of science. Sometimes, exam results are not the best indicators in the choosing your field of study, although it is an important indicator in most cases. Even after scoring low in Science subjects, if you strongly feel that your interests are in the field of science, then you should pursue it.
