I want to get an admission in software course should I write the entrance exam for the admission or not? Which entrance exam should I write?

On the other hand, if you mean Software Engineering (Computer Science Engineering or IT Engineering) as the software course, then you are required to certainly give entrance examination in order to get admission in software courses.
