Dear sir, can I able to write CSAT exam on 2015 am 32;years. My date of birth is 1983. Iam interested to write this CSAT exam. Can I able to write

The age limit for CSAT is 21 to 30 years for General category candidates. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

1. SC/ST : 5 years relaxation
2. OBC : 3 years relaxation
3. PWD : 10 years relaxation

Therefore, if you belong to any of the above categories, then surely you can apply for CSAT, otherwise, there is no chance for you to apply for CSAT.

Your age now 32 years old so you are not eligible for CSAT exam but if you are from reserved category then only you are eligible for CSAT exam otherwise not.

Graduation degree with minimum percentage marks from a recognized university are eligible for civil service exam. Final year candidates are also eligible for civil service exam.

Age criteria :-

Minimum Age = 21 years old
Maximum Age = 30 years old

Age relaxation :-

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

# Age limit to apply for CSAT examination is 21-32 years for General category candidates and the age relaxations are :
-> 3 years for OBC candidates and defence service personnel
-> 5 years for SC/ST candidates, ex-servicemen and ECOs/SSCOs.
-> 10 years for blind, deaf, dumb and orthopedically challenged persons.
As you are 32 years old, you are eligible to apply for CSAT examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
# And the maximum number of attempts allowed for CSAT examination are :
-> 6 times for General category
-> 9 times for OBC category
-> No such limit for SC and ST category candidates.
# And Graduation is the minimum educational qualification required to apply for CSAT exam and final year pursuing students are also eligible to apply.
