MASTER'S DEGREE IN EEE Doing master's degree is one of the better option after doing B.E/B.Tech EEE... but still you can get jobs too after finishing your UG degree but doing PG degree will sure increase your knowledge which in turn leads too a very good job in the future... -> One of the best option is to go for teaching job's in college after finishing your PG course with EEE, since there are many openings in the current scenario in many of the top colleges... -> Where taking the teaching job will reduce your stress and work tension.. -> Some of the PG course which you can take as EEE engineer are as follows... -> M.E in Power System Engineering. -> M.E in High Voltage Engineering. -> M.E in Control & Instrumentation Engineering. -> M.E in Power Electronics & Drives. -> M.E in Power Systems & Drives. -> M.E in Electrical Drives and Embedded Systems. -> M.E in Embedded System Technologies. -> M.E in Embedded in Systems. -> M.E in Instrumentation Engineering. -> M.E in Control Systems. -> M.E in Embedded and Real Time System. -> M.E in Electrical Machines. -> M.Tech in Power Management. -> M.E in Applied Electronics. -> M.E in Communication Engineering. -> M.E in VLSI Design. -> There are still more courses available for EEE as PG course, the above list is some of the suited PG course after EEE.. -> Just select the course which you are interested in and work hard in it, sure you will have a bright future.. |

Re: Options available for B.Tech EEE students?
well you have several options
like you can join a job or you can go for MBA. In jobs you have several private companies or you can try to land a government job through various exams like IES or exams conducted by PSUs OR you can go for MBA if you like to move to management. Ex. DRDO BHEL< HAL, GE, MS, CAT etc. |

Re: Options available for B.Tech EEE students?
Hello friend ......
EEE is a very good branch because the students in this branch have the option of getting into both the electrical and also in the electronics field . They get the benefit of both the field in getting jobs ..... As a EEE branch candidate higher education of doing the GATE and then doing the M.Tech through it is a good option ... But there are even many more options for you other than the M.Tech ... You can go for doing the MBA degree which would enhance your salary package . Or even you can join in any of the private companies or the public sector companies for the job , it depends on you what you want to do .... You can even go for the research in the field of electrical or the electronics ... So best of luck |

Re: Options available for B.Tech EEE students?
You have mentioned in your question itself that you want to do your masters. That would be the best option for you after you complete your engineering. If you are looking out for other options, then there are quite a few. If you are interested to work, then you can start working. The best thing about masters is that, you can still go for the degree after 2 or 3 years of graduation. You can even choose to do your post graduation abroad. You can even choose to do M.B.A from any of the top business schools.
