Re: Subject-wise cut-off in Bank PO exam?
Dear Friend
The cutoff marks to get selected is not same every year. It depends on the performance of mass in the examination. The sum of marks that you must score for getting selected is 40% but it doesn't mean that you will be selected for sure after scoring this much marks. This is the minimum permissible marks for success. The cutoff of each section is important in bank PO exams. i.e. Reasoning,Numerical Ability, English etc. The OBC and other reserved class gets privilege in determining cutoff for their class. |

Re: Subject-wise cut-off in Bank PO exam?
The selection procedure for bank PO positions will be by
-Written test -Interview. The written exam may consists of questions from the following categories. -Reasoning -Quantitative aptitude -General awareness -General English -Computer/ Marketing knowledge. Some banks may also conduct a descriptive test. As a part of cut-off, one need to secure a minimum of 40% of marks in each of the papers to get through the written test. There is negative marking for the wrong answers and mostly it is 1/4 th. Depending upon the number of people that the bank is going to hire, it may call top candidates to certain extent in a certain ratio for the interview. So, candidates who secured high marks is going to be get benefited |

Re: Subject-wise cut-off in Bank PO exam?
I was able to answer only this much because of my slowness. I answered two questions containing 10 marks each in REASONING ABILITY and solved three DATA Interpretation with 13 questions out of 15. I sure of getting 11 marks in Reasoning ability and 11-12 marks in Quantitative... General awarness and English I am sure of getting above or equal to 15 marks in each for 25 marks. What are my chances, can anyone please tell me.

Dear Aspirant,
How are you? For bank exams you have work more. Prepare for all these types of questions. 1) Reasoning 2) Aptitude 3) Logical thinking 4) English etc., I am sending you some of the papers. Please refer these papers. It will be useful for you. Subject cut-off is nearly 50-55 % of total marks in general category. Others OBC etc., it can be low cut- off marks. All the best. |

Re: Subject-wise cut-off in Bank PO exam?
Hi, it is kashee classes,rajkot.
Generally, cut off varies in all the exam. But SBI exam is always full of toughness and surprise. Considering the same. Cut off would be around 55%, provided you clear all the sectional cut off. Remember one thing, Don't worry about cut off but attempt as many questions as you can which are easier and you have seen them during your practise. If you follow these tips, you can easily attempt 60-65% and out of this, you can easily score 55%. In PO exam, most important thing is question selection. Don't try to be genius by attempting harder question. |

Re: Subject-wise cut-off in Bank PO exam?
First of all you need minimum 24 marks in each , if you not get 24 marks in each you are disqualified and your descriptive paper of English is not checked. These 24 marks are out of each 50 marks. SO don't worry for cut-off first qualify.

Re: Subject-wise cut-off in Bank PO exam?
The cut off varies from exam to exam . Its no t fixed but from the past result, you can
pedict that cut off marks is some what fall between 50 - 60% of the total and section wise too. As one needs to clear all section . IBPS PO cut off score is 24 for general and 21 for sc/st /obc classes. |
