Re: Which are the subjects in Aeronautical Engineering?
Aeronautical engineering deals with the construction, design and science of aircraft and spacecrafts (both in civilian and military fields). It is divided into two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. The former deals with craft that stay within Earth's atmosphere, and the latter with craft that operate outside it.

Aeronautical Engineering is a very interesting subject to opt for as it deals with the study of subjects like aviation, control techniques and defense system etc. It is mostly concerned with the development, maintenance and design of aircrafts. It includes both practical and theoretical learning of the above mentioned subjects. Following are some of the courses you can opt for in India: B.E./B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering Post-Graduate Degree Courses In order to pursue B.E./B.Tech in aeronautical engineering you need to qualify the higher secondary examination with not less than 50 percent of marks. Physics, chemistry and mathematics should be your compulsory subjects at 10+2 level. Apart from that it is mandatory to sit for the joint entrance exams and successfully crack that. Better the rank, better will be your chances of making it to the top level colleges in the country. There are a list of entrance exams that can be given to pursue this course, namely, IIT, AIEEE, IIA Entrance Exam, SLIET Entrance Exam, IISAT Admission Test, HITSEE etc. Apart from the above mentioned exams you can also give various state level entrance exams for which you have to score just 45% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together. Following are the subjects included in this course: Air Turbine Production Navigation Instrumentation and Communication Fundamentals and advanced study of Propulsion theory Electronic theory Computer Programming Fluid dynamics Structural Analysis Material Science Control theory Aerodynamics Top Institutes for this course includes: Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur Bengal Engineering and Science University, Howrah Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering & Information Technology, Pune Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, Chennai |

Re: Which are the subjects in Aeronautical Engineering?
Well friend there are many subjects related to aeronautical engineering like stated below:
Aeronautical Engineering Aeronautics Aerospace Engineering Astronautical Engineering Astronautics Astronomy Astrophysics Before choosing any stated course try to get the complete information about it. In India only the first 3 courses are provided including IITs. So, if you desired for aeronautical engineering then see; This course mostly focuses on Physics and Mathematics rather than the Chemistry. It is a branch of aerospace engineering and encompasses aircraft design, construction and testing of aircraft, missiles and spacecrafts. Overall it, uses the science of propulsion and aerodynamics. If possible try to do this course only from IIT,PEC,MIT or Anna Univ. Do not go to any other colleges. If you are not getting in above specified then go for ECE branch. It is closely related to it. I recommend to do ECE only from DIT,Dehradun as it is becoming a fast growing University overcoming with most of the NITs and IITs. Good Luck.... |
