For UPSC exams you must know the minimum knowledge of 10th standard CBSC.
It is the basic knowledge for everyone who wants attend UPSC exam offered by the central government.
You must need to build the habbit of studying regularly which helps to build your self confidence.

The premiminary Examination conducted by UPSC consists of two papers of objective type (multiple choice questions) carrying a maximum of 400 marks. The Question papers(Test booklets) are set in English and hindi.

(Paper 1) (200 marks) - Duration : Two hrs.
*Current event of national and Internation importance
*History of India and Indian national movement
*Indian and World Geography-physical, social, economic geography of India and the world
*Indian Polity and governance-constitution ploitical system, panchayat raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc
*Economic and social development-sustainable develoopment, poverty inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc
*General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change-that do not require subject specializatin
*General science
*The question will be in multiple choice

(Paper 2) (200 marks) - Duration: Two hrs
*Comprehension
*Interpersonal skills including communication skills
*Logical reasoning and analytical ability
*Decision making and problem solving
*General mental ability
*Basic mumeracy (numbers and their relation, orders of magnitude ets(class 10th level), Data interpretation(charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.(class 10th level)
*English language comprehension skills (class 10th level)
*Questions relating to English langauage coprehension skill of class10th level
(last item in the Syllabus of paper-2) will be tested through passages from English language only without providing Hindi translation there of in the question paper
*The question will be in multiple choice.

The UPSC CSAT 2012 will have two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each and of two hours duration each. All questions are of objective type. The marks scored in the CSAT 2012 are used for determining qualified candidates for the Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2012 only. The CSAT 2012 score (marks) will NOT be carried overto the next stage (Civil Services Mains Exam 2012)

UPSC CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test ) has two papers

Papers I tests the General Awaress.

Paper II tests Logical Resoning skills/Decision making skills/problem solving skills/Communication skills/mental ability/analytical ability/Comprehension skills/numerical aptitude/Data interpretation/English Language Comprehension skills

Union public service comission is exam for the goverment recruiment in different field
hence the syllabus is depend upon from the basic education to your graduation
1.english in details
2.history,geography,physics,chemistry,biology
3.general knowledge
4.current affairs,maths

in upsc exam the syllabus depends upon exams
-forest department exam.
-combine defence exam
-IAS and IES exam.
-central police force.
For such exam the syllabus are follows

1.english in details
2.history,geography,physics,chemistry,biology
3.general knowledge
4.current affairs,maths
these are the subjects for UPSC Exam.

well i am pursuing my MBA in hotel management for IGNOU. well which all subjects can i choose for upsc exam . well i am lil down with the local language that to in writing . speaking no issue .
