Suggestions for cracking IAS exam?
hello,
can i get suggestion for cracking IAS exam & syllabus for that. with this i want to know exam scheduling, types of exam & with other necessary details. i want complete information about this. if you help me i will be grateful to all for suggesting me |

in the i a s exam, the exam is conducted in two phase, 1. prelim exam 2. mains exam after qualifying the 1st phase you will be ask for the write the 2nd phase exam, then after there will be an interview, also you can get the syllabus from the websites www.upsc.gov.in o k all the best |

just study hard put your brain at the right place and use your logic and ofcourse dont be nervous dont waste time on the questions which you are not getting ok

for IAS you really have to work out of the box. So work hard and try to master all the sections. Exam is quite tough but you can clear it if you perform smart studies

Dear friend,
IAS exam is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC every year. This eaxm is carried out as through three steps. Step 1: Preliminary Exam which is an objective type exam,candidates who pass this step are eligible to sit in the mains. Step 2: Mains Exam which is subjective or essay type format,candidates cracking this stage go for the final test. Step 3: Personality test which test candidates on their personality ,leadership quality etc. You can get all the relevant syllabus of the exam and model papers from the official site : www.upsc.gov.in |

Dont worry,IAS is ahigh profiled & little tough entrance exam in educational life. so u have to study properly according to me some thing which u may do: 1>study maintaining a time table. 2>increase ur general aptitude knowledge 3>verbal knowledge ,u may take help of Barron's,R.S.Agarwall etc.. 4>increase knowledge on current affairs. the main thing which u required to crack IAS EXAM..
1.check yourself that can u do this because extra ordinary efforts are needed to crack this exam. 2.choose right subject 3.select appropriate study material. 4.make a perfect strategy for study. 5.put your all efforts. good luck |

The pattern of UPSC CSE will be changed this time.
Instead of pre there will be CSAT(Civil service Aptitude Test) Mains as usual and interview. For Clearing CSE you need really hard work and 1 year of utter dedication. Please choose the right subject combination according to your choice and foeld of interest in which you are in commanding position Can join any of the best coaching and devote fully yourself for this exams. success will be yours oneday |

Well friend...IAS is one of the toughest exam to crack...well I am not disheartening you by saying this...with that I will add that each nd every one of us has the ability to crack IAS...well a very good coaching and training is very important to crack IAS exam...you need to be thorough with your selected subjects...a dedicated preparation is utmost important for preparing IAS...

please tell the subject in which you want to know the books, as far as general studies is concerned ,follow the ncert text books from them the maximum questions come , and this year the pattern is changing,and there is going to be aptitude test also,so prepare for aptitude from now only all the best |

Hello friends,
As per as civil service exam updates, released by many newspapers, the pattern of the exam is going to change from the upcoming year. As till now, the exam is divided in to three stages Preliminary exam Main exam Interview The preliminary exam comprises of two papers General studies Optional paper Now, most probably from the next year i.e. 2011, the preliminary exam will be replaced by Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). This test will be based on the candidates aptitude toward civil service. The Main exam and the interview is supposed to be conducted in the regular pattern. More information regarding this new pattern of civil service exam will be provided as soon as the updates are released. |

HI
IAS is conducted in two stages : PRELIMS and MAINS . After you qualify in the prelims you can then only go for MAINS. For Each stage you should be well in the subjects you are applying for and try going through as many model test as possible as this will improve your scoring rate . all the best |

For becoming an IAS you have to write UPSC. This is one of the toughest exam.For cracking UPSC you really have to work hard and put alot of effort.
THis exam is conducted in two phases i,e. PRELIMS and MAINS which are followed by GDs and INTERVIEWS. I am attaching a brochure for UPSC. kindly go through it for syllabus , eligibility. |

Do not waste time. Start installing apps like the hindu. Read NCERT books . Always relate to whatever you are reading. Read editorial columns to improve your essay writing and analytical skills. Be confident and crack aptitude questions. Increase verbal knowlege and general knowledge related to our country. Choose the right subject combination which interests you and which you can clear.
