hello friends.....
I am B.Tech 3rd year student of computer science. I am totally confused what should i do in my 2 months summer vacations. I am not perfect in Java or SQL..either i do summer training from a company or do a language course?? is it possible to manage the both?

please help me to take a decision!!

YOu wont be able to get good intern as you dont have strong knowledge of even java upto 3rd yr.
Do , language course only if you want to go abroad , otherwise wont be of much use, but i think you should revise what have you studied till now, this would be much better than doing something arbit.

you are not perfect in java or SQL.So what if you are doing a project in .Net framework or PHP or HTML then i think you will face any problem.Besides this in 7th semester you will study VB so it will help you if you previously doing a project on ASP .Net using VB from a renowned institute.Basically your final year project in your collage you and your teammates have to done.So be serious about the summer training and learn more about the new subject.
One thing i tell you if you don't learn JAVA today when you go for industry you have to learn because as a computer science student you don't know JAVA , this is not acceptable.

You focus your self in one subject ..i suggest you do CCNA,NETWORK SECURITY,DOT NET from IIHT,IIJT,GNIT,CMC so go for it
constant your mind because if you go in 2 direction then it is dangerous for your carrier ,,

no you don't need for language subject at this level.
better prepare good for this course and growth you future.
then get the placement of your college.

ans Hi monika,
It is so simple u got two months after completion of your 3rd year so in the first month u do language course and in the next u do training because if u r doing both at a time then it is difficult and if u want a two month for training then i will suggest u that from now i think u r in 3rd yr so start doing language course side by side wd ur study i think ur study is not affected too much

dont worry.if u could'nt perfect in java and sql then u can choose other option such as php,oprating system like linux.now a days android mobile operating system is also a very good option to choose.
my suggestion is that u should concentrate on java programmnig language.because its a very good language and eay one.n its help you for your future refrence..so do work hard for java programmnig..there is a lots of requirment for java programmer and software devoloper.

technical field is full of choice, if you are not good in java or the SQL then you can go for the web designing. in this sector you will face short and simple coding for making the web pages.


This field is also a good field in the IT. some languages are HTML, PHp.net etc. these languages contain simple coding.

by these languages you can make your own home pages.so you can do your training in these kind of languages.

It is a good idea to utilize your summer vacation. You are less knowledge in java and sql.

So better try to learn those languages. Because now a days software compnies looking students who having basic knowledge in java or sql.

I think go for coaching and traning given by compny is better because you have two months time. You have daily 2 to 3 hours classes only.

So morning you go for training and eviening you go for classes

please select a language based project which you will give in your CV.You should be very fluent in that project.MNC's will must ask you about your summer training and you have to be very fluent in that project.

Here is some options for you :
1.You can select C based project
2.You can select JAVA based project
3.You can select .NET based project
