After completion of (10+2) with PCM as a main subjects , You can get admission to electrical engineering. It having total 8 semesters.Admission will be based on merit score which is prepared on the basis of score obtained in (10+2) plus entrance score.

B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. B.Tech Electrical Engineering is a four-year undergraduate degree course in the field of electrics. Candidates who have passed 12th standard with PCM stream or three years Diploma in Engineering course from a Government recognised board/ institute are eligible to pursue B.Tech Electrical Engineering course.

Admissions in B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) course are offered through National or State or University level entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, WBJEE, EAMCET, BITSAT, SRM EEE, etc.,. You need to appear and qualify the engineering entrance examination to get admission in B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) course.
